Five minutes to Doomsday

The symbolic ‘Doomsday Clock’ that scientists use to measure the risk of a nuclear holocaust has moved 1 minute closer to midnight.

The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists has moved the clock to just 5 minutes till midnight. Their reasons include the lack of political action to address nuclear weapons stockpiles, the potential for regional nuclear conflict, nuclear power safety and global climate change.

This may seem like more alarming news in these troubled times. But we think this is a wakeup call.

Forgiveness, understanding, a bit of common sense and a lot of love are our weapons against our own self-destruction. Never give up hope that together, we can stop the clock.
