The right to say “I do”

A US court overturned a ban on same-sex marriage in California.

The judges ruled that the ban known as Proposition 8 “works a meaningful harm to gays and lesbians” by denying their rights to civil marriage in violation of the 14th Amendment.

But supporters of Proposition 8 say they will appeal this ruling, which means that in the meantime, there is a stay on same-sex marriages.

But why all the fuss? We have a simpler solution for those who are so against same-sex marriages: don’t marry someone of the same sex.

Stop the discrimination.
